Due to heavy snowfalls in Turkey, several flights of Uzbekistan Airways have been canceled.
It is noted that due to adverse weather conditions (heavy snowfall, insufficient visibility) at Istanbul International Airport, flight HY-271 on the Tashkent-Istanbul route was rescheduled from 07:40 to 13:00 on January 25.
Also, flight HY-072 on the Istanbul-Tashkent route was rescheduled from 12:30 to 17:50 (Istanbul time).
In addition, flight HY-056 on the Urgench-Tashkent route was changed from 16:20 to 20:05.
Previously, all flights from Istanbul Airport were canceled indefinitely due to a snowstorm.
According to the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, roads to the airport were also blocked due to heavy snowfall.
“The Consulate General urges our citizens not to travel to the airport until the situation improves. It is recommended to clarify the time of scheduled flights,” the message says.
Since last week, heavy snowfalls have been observed in most regions of Turkey. As a result, traffic on the roads is difficult.
