Prime Minister of Kazakhstan to visit Uzbekistan
The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan is arriving in Uzbekistan today.
A government delegation led by Kazakh Prime Minister Alikhon Smailov will pay a one-day visit to Uzbekistan on February 11.
It is noted that the program of the visit includes talks with the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and other joint events.
Alikhon Smailov was appointed head of Kazakhstan’s government on January 11, 2022.
Alikhon Smailov is 49 years old. He was born in Almaty. Previously, he served as the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan under Askar Mamin. He at the same time served as the Minister of Finance from September 2018 until May 2020.
