Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrives in Islamabad

At the airport in Islamabad, Mirziyoyev was welcomed by the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan.

High-level talks will take place today. The sides will pay special attention to strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Pakistan, developing practical cooperation in trade, investment, transport, logistics, infrastructure and tourism.

Following the talks, a joint declaration will be adopted. The parties will sign a number of bilateral documents.

On the second day of his visit, Mirziyoyev will meet with President of Pakistan Arif Alvi and heads of leading companies.
