Shavkat Mirziyoyev leaves for Pakistan

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has left for Pakistan on a state visit.

Following the high-level talks held in Tashkent in July 2021, Uzbek-Pakistani relations reached the level of strategic partnership. During the current visit, issues of further strengthening the strategic partnership and developing multifaceted cooperation will be discussed, the presidential press service reported.

The parties are expected to adopt a joint declaration and sign a number of bilateral documents.
