Resumption of passenger train service between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan postponed
Kazakhstan has postponed the resumption of international passenger trains Nukus-Beyneu and Tashkent-Almaty, Uztemiryulyulovchi JSC reported.
It is reported that this is due to the introduction of quarantine restrictions in the neighboring country.
This decision was confirmed by the minutes of the meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on Prevention of Coronavirus Infection in Kazakhstan.
Purchased and unused tickets will be refunded in full at the railway ticket office or reissued at a later date until the sanitary-epidemiological situation at the border with Kazakhstan improves.
Earlier it was reported that the first trip of the Uzbek-Kazakh railway will be launched on April 1 on the route Nukus – Beyneu – Nukus.
