Uzbekistan imported over 122 thousand tons of potatoes in Jan-Feb 2022
In the first two months of 2022, Uzbekistan imported 122.4 thousand tons of potatoes for $21 million.
Potato imports increased by almost 42 thousand tons compared to the same period last year, the State Statistics Committee said.
Over the period under review, the republic imported potatoes from seven countries:
- Pakistan - 91.3 thousand tons
- Kazakhstan - 12.6 thousand tons
- Iran - 5.2 thousand tons
- Russia - 4.4 thousand tons
- Kyrgyzstan - 4.3 thousand tons
- Afghanistan - 4 thousand tons
- Belarus - 631.6 tons
