Saudi entrepreneur intends to invest in growing agricultural products in Uzbekistan
Employees of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan held talks with a well-known entrepreneur of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Abdullah Darwesh Al-Harisi.
During the meeting, issues of attracting foreign investment to Uzbekistan, in particular from Saudi Arabia, were discussed in detail.
The Saudi side was familiarized in detail with the favorable conditions and benefits created in Uzbekistan for foreign investors, the economic and tourism potential of the country, in particular the activities of free economic zones in the country.
Abdullah Darwesh Al-Harisi, in turn, expressed interest in investing in the agricultural sector of our country and asked to present investment projects in this direction.
“I plan to grow agricultural products in Uzbekistan and export them to Saudi Arabia. If there is interest from Uzbek potential partners, we are ready to cooperate with them and implement relevant projects,” he said.
It should be noted that Sheikh Abdullah Darwesh al-Harisi heads the construction company “Abdullah Al Harthy Contracting Est”. His company is also active in the hotel and agricultural business.
