Deputy FM of Uzbekistan meets with Advisor to Senate Chairman of Italy in Rome
Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov, who is on a visit to Rome, met with Valentino Valentini, Advisor to the Chairman of the Italian Senate on international issues.
According to the MFA, during the talks, issues of developing inter-parliamentary dialogue between Uzbekistan and Italy, prospects for mutual study of the experience of parliamentarism in public administration and law-making were discussed.
Particular attention was paid to the issues of signing a Memorandum of Cooperation between friendship groups in the parliaments of the two countries in order to intensify mutual contacts, participate in international conferences and forums on the territory of both countries.
Mutual interest was expressed in providing parliamentary support for cooperation at the bilateral level in the field of culture, expanding cooperation between scientific and educational institutions.
