Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan meets with President of Azerbaijan in Baku

On May 24, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov met in Baku with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
During the meeting, the parties noted the successful development of friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan in all areas, including political, economic and transport.
Ilham Aliyev once again stressed that he highly appreciates the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan to construct a school building in the Fizuli region.
It was emphasized that the presence of a large number of sights and historical monuments of world importance creates a good basis for expanding cooperation in the field of tourism.
Along with this, the need for measures to further promote bilateral relations in the field of culture was emphasized.
