President of Tajikistan arrives in Uzbekistan

At the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit on June 2.

At the Tashkent International Airport, he was met by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. There was a brief conversation between the leaders. The President of Tajikistan visited the New Uzbekistan Park and laid flowers at the Independence Monument. The guest was told about the content and architectural features of the complex.

It should be noted that the ceremony of laying flowers to the monument by high-ranking guests has become a tradition.
