Uzbekistan lifts all coronavirus-related restrictions upon entry into the Republic
From June 10, 2022, temporary coronavirus-related restrictions for citizens of Uzbekistan and foreign countries entering Uzbekistan through air travel, border railway stations and border checkpoints will be lifted.
The decision was made by a Special Republican Commission, the government’s press service told Kun.uz.
Previously, passengers were required to take a PCR and express antigen test, obtain a vaccination certificate or passport.
The latest restrictions are also being lifted as the situation with the coronavirus improves. From March 1, citizens of Uzbekistan were officially allowed not to wear masks in the open air.
Passenger trains between Uzbekistan and Russia will be resumed from June 14. On June 1, Turkmenistan opened its territory for the transit of Uzbek trucks.
