Kazakhstan deports 31 citizens of Uzbekistan
In the Turkestan region of Kazakhstan, police have identified 51 foreigners involved in the illegal collection of ferula plant.
According to the regional police department, Turkestan regional police are working systematically to prevent violations in the field of migration legislation, curb illegal migration channels and identify their organizers.
It was noted that special attention is paid to ensuring compliance with the legislation of Kazakhstan in the field of migration by foreigners and stateless persons located in the region. Law enforcement officers regularly organize raids and preventive measures, and conduct comprehensive inspections.
In particular, during the preventive measures carried out by the Otrar district police department, 51 foreign nationals were identified who were picking medicinal ferula in the steppes of the Karakongir village.
It was reported that 31 of them were citizens of Uzbekistan and 17 of them were citizens of Tajikistan. Police took the foreigners to the district office.
They were deported by a court decision under Article 517-5 of the Administrative Responsibility Code of Kazakhstan (“Violation of the legislation of Kazakhstan in the field of migration by a foreigner or stateless person”).
