Bus carrying citizens of Uzbekistan catches fire in Kazakhstan
A bus with citizens of Uzbekistan got into an accident in the Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
On June 15, 2022, at 06:45, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, at night at 03:10 by Kazakhstan time, a traffic accident occurred on the 545th km of the Almaty-Tashkent highway passing through the Zhambyl district, Zhambyl region.
At 03:40, two passenger buses and a car collided with a burning truck on the Almaty-Tashkent highway. As a result of the collision, a fire broke out in these vehicles.
In one of the buses that caught fire, there were 31 citizens of Uzbekistan, three of them were taken to the Taraz Medical Center with moderate injuries. Currently, these citizens are receiving medical assistance.
It was noted that the Kazakh authorities are actively assisting in the speedy elimination of the consequences of the accident and the provision of emergency medical care to the victims.
Reportedly, the exchange of information on the situation with the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan continues.
