Uzbekistan increases wheat flour imports: Kazakhstan remains major supplier
In January-May 2022, Uzbekistan imported 158.4 thousand tons of wheat flour for $49 million.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the volume of wheat flour imports increased by 19.8 thousand tons compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, Uzbekistan imported wheat flour mainly from the following countries:
- Kazakhstan - 153.4 thousand tons
- Russia - 4.9 thousand tons
- USA - 50 tons
- Italy - 27 tons
- India - 2 tons
- France - 1.8 tons
