Over 57 percent of Uzbekistan’s population is of working age – Statistics Committee

According to the committee, as of July 1, 2022, 57.2 percent of the population are people of working age.

The committee added that 31.6 percent of the permanent residents are people younger than working age – about 11 million people.

Those older than working age comprise 11.2 percent of the total population, according to statistics.
