Uzbekistan Railways has introduced a cashback program for local tourists.
JSC Uzbekistan Railways has announced the launch of a loyalty program for railway passengers.
Customers now receive reward points when they purchase train tickets online. The corresponding opportunity is provided on the chipta.railway.uz website or in mobile applications.
To use the bonus, one needs to register through the One ID system – this allows the user to link his account with passport data. Then the user needs to select a route, date and time and buy a ticket in the standard way.
The equivalent of 2 percent of the fare is transferred to the account in bonus points (1 soum = 1 point). For example, for the purchase of a ticket worth 100,000 soums, a passenger will receive 2,000 points.
Information about the accumulated points will be displayed on subsequent online ticket purchases. When the customer has collected enough points, they can be used to pay for the next travel tickets.
It is noted that Uzbekistan Railways, as part of its participation in the program, is implementing a loyalty program to cover part of the costs of domestic tourism.
