Over 3 million foreign nationals visited Uzbekistan in Jan-Aug 2022
Over the past eight months of 2022, more than 3 million foreign nationals visited Uzbekistan.
The purposes of the trips of foreign citizens to Uzbekistan during the reporting period:
- visit relatives - 2.7 million people (577.4 thousand in August);
- recreation - 208.8 thousand people (39.0 thousand in August);
- business trips - 44.5 thousand (7.7 thousand in August);
- for treatment - 50.5 thousand people (6.1 thousand in August);
- work - 11,200 people (2.2 thousand in August);
- for study - 2.9 thousand people (0.5 thousand in August).
