Uzbekistan importing passenger cars mainly from China
In January-August 2022, Uzbekistan imported 20,765 passenger cars from 25 countries for $511.6 million.
According to the State Statistics Committee, passenger car imports increased by 5,786 compared to the same period in 2021.
During the reporting period, Uzbekistan imported cars mainly from the following countries:
- China – 8,337
- South Korea – 6,784
- Kazakhstan – 3,651
- Russia – 1,388
- USA – 237
- UAE – 125
- Japan – 91
- Germany – 67
