About 3.6 million tourists visited Uzbekistan over nine months – Statistics Committee

In January-September 2022, about 3.6 million foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the figure increased by 2.5 million (3.2 times) compared to the same period last year.

Over the nine months, citizens of the following countries visited Uzbekistan the most for tourist purposes:

- Kazakhstan - 1,076.2 thousand people
- Kyrgyz R. - 952.1 thousand people
- Tajikistan - 950.3 thousand people
- Russia - 395.1 thousand people
- Turkey - 53.3 thousand people
- South Korea - 13.3 thousand people
- Germany - 13.5 thousand people
- USA - 9.8 thousand people
- India - 9.3 thousand people
- Israel - 8.4 thousand people
- France - 8.3 thousand people
- Great Britain - 7.7 thousand people
- Azerbaijan - 7.3 thousand people
- Italy - 5.9 thousand people
- Spain - 4.3 thousand people
