Uzbekistan increases food product imports by 40%
In January-October 2022, Uzbekistan imported $2.8 billion worth of food products from 106 countries.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the figure increased by almost 40% compared to the corresponding period of 2021.
During the reporting period, Kazakhstan was the major supplier of food products to Uzbekistan with 36.2%, followed by Russia - 24.1% and Brazil – 14.7%.
The figure for other top suppliers:
- Belarus - 4.3%;
- Pakistan - 2.0%;
- Ecuador – 1.6%;
- China - 1.5%;
- Turkey - 1.4%;
- India - 1.3%;
- Indonesia - 1.1%.
Other countries of the world accounted for the remaining 11.8% of food product supplies.
