Uzbekistan, Islamic Republic of Pakistan reach preferential trade agreement
A corresponding presidential decree “On approval of the international treaty” was adopted.
In accordance with the document, an agreement on preferential trade between Uzbekistan and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan was approved.
This agreement was signed on March 3, 2022 in Islamabad.
The Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade and the Customs Committee have been designated as the competent authorities responsible for the implementation of this international agreement.
The Cabinet of Ministers and the heads of relevant ministries and departments will ensure the fulfillment of the obligations of Uzbekistan after the entry into force of this international agreement.
