The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin held today telephone conversations with the leaders of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Belarus.
“The president informed his interlocutors about the current situation,” said Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov, without specifying what kind of situation he was talking about.
“Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that the ongoing events are an internal affair of Russia,” the press service of the President of Kazakhstan said in a statement.
Putin’s telephone call comes after the Wagner leader’s actions and the start of the rebellion in Russia.
