According to Uzaviation’s press service, these reports are not true.

The agency called for publishing information confirmed by authorized state bodies.

Earlier it was reported that the Civil Aviation Agency of Uzbekistan offered the Russian aviation authorities to expand air traffic between the countries, in particular, from Tashkent to Moscow and St. Petersburg.

The representative of the Russian Ministry of Transport allegedly confirmed that the proposal to expand air traffic "is on the agenda." According to the Russian side, the Uzaviation agency asked to double the number of weekly flights between Tashkent and Moscow (from 25 to 50), as well as between Tashkent and St. Petersburg (from 7 to 14).
