An agreement with Russian Federation on opening of representative offices of customs services approved
On July 13, the President signed a decree “On the approval of an international treaty”.

“Approve the agreement between the government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the government of the Russian Federation on the opening of representative offices of the customs services of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation, signed on December 2, 2022 in the city of Samarkand,” the text of the document reads.
The Customs Committee under the Ministry of Economy and Finance is designated as the competent body responsible for the implementation of this international treaty.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was instructed to send the Russian side an appropriate notification about the implementation by Uzbekistan of the domestic procedures necessary for the entry into force of the said international treaty, as well as the competent body responsible for its implementation.
After the entry into force of this international treaty, the Cabinet of Ministers and the heads of relevant ministries and departments were instructed to ensure control over the implementation of its provisions in the prescribed manner.
