Currently, Turkish police are continuing "special raids" in large cities and public places as part of the fight against illegal migration.
Among the foreigners who violated the rules of staying in Turkey and were caught, there are also citizens of Uzbekistan, and it is observed that most of them are sent from Istanbul to repatriation centers (Geri gönderme merkezi) in other regions.
According to the received applications, when the Consulate General investigated the situation of the citizens through the Turkish Police and the Migration Service (Göç İdaresi), it was found that they did not have an identity document (passport, İkamet İzni) with them or they violated the rules of living and working in Turkey.
Citizens of Uzbekistan staying in Turkey are requested to fully comply with local laws and carry with them documents confirming their identity (passport) and residence permit in Turkey (İkamet İzni).
