A woman wanted for human trafficking by the National Central Bureau of Interpol has been extradited from Oman to Uzbekistan.
She was brought from Muscat to Tashkent by the officers of the National Central Bureau of Interpol.
The woman conspired with a group of individuals in 2022 to send girls abroad with the promise of well-paid work and a beautiful life in the United Arab Emirates and Oman, where she and her accomplices took away the victims' passports and forced them to engage in prostitution.
Her arrest and extradition to Uzbekistan was carried out in close cooperation between the Interpol bureaus of Uzbekistan and Oman.
