Chinese company Amer International might open regional office in Uzbekistan
At a meeting with the chairman of the company, Shavkat Mirziyoyev discussed cooperation issues in copper processing, electrical engineering, battery production for electric cars, and semiconductor manufacturing.

As part of his working visit to Beijing, Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Wang Wenyin, founder and board chairman of Amer International Group.
During the talks, Wang Wenyin noted that the company considers Uzbekistan as the main direction of its business in the Central Asian region.

The parties considered promising projects for strengthening cooperation in such areas as the deep processing of copper and the manufacturing of innovative and affordable products with higher added value, including batteries for electric cars, microelectronics, and semiconductors.
The company plans to open a regional office in Uzbekistan.
The sides reached an agreement on the adoption of a "roadmap" for the acceleration of joint innovative projects.

Amer International is one of China's leading conglomerates. It deals with projects in the advanced technology, electronics, semiconductor industry, mining, and processing sectors. The company ranks 124th in the Fortune 500 global ranking. It is implementing projects with a total value of more than $60 billion in China and abroad.
