Uzbekistan’s embassy in Korea asks compatriots not to participate in crowded events, rallies and demonstrations
The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Seoul issued a warning to Uzbeks residing in the Republic of Korea.

The diplomatic mission asked compatriots staying in this country not to participate in crowded events, various rallies and demonstrations these days.
On October 29, 2022, 156 people died of suffocation and cardiac arrest, and 196 were injured in a traffic jam on Itaewon Street in Seoul, where Halloween was celebrated. Among the deceased, there was a citizen of Uzbekistan as well.
The embassy advised citizens of Uzbekistan not to participate in crowded events, various rallies and demonstrations, and in case of emergency situations with the participation of Uzbeks, to immediately call the following responsible employees of the embassy: Consul Elyor Nishonov - 010-6802-1969; Vice-Consul Azamat Boltaev - 010-2909-4334; Attaché Abdumannon Isanov - 010-3213-4505.
