An individual who attempted to smuggle 96 historical coins out of the country detained in Bukhara
It was found out that these numismatic items were not listed in any relevant documents.

It was reported that a citizen traveling on the “Bukhara-Vnukovo” flight was scanned by the inspection complex while passing through the customs control zone of the “Bukhara Airport” border customs post.
As a result, a total of 96 historical coins were found, which were not shown in any relevant documents and were not reported by the customs official during the verbal inquiry.
It is noted that, in order to determine the level of antiquity of these numismatic items, the cultural heritage department of Bukhara region appointed an artistic expertise.
Currently, the investigation is being carried out in connection with this case.
It should be recalled that according to the Law “On Import and Export of Cultural Assets”, it is prohibited to export numismatic items minted over 50 years from the territory of our country.
