“Business activities of several officials have been terminated” – Anti-Corruption Agency
There are governors of Mirabad district (Tashkent city) and Buston district (Andijan region) among them.
During the studies conducted on the basis of reports and other public information about the fact that some officials of the state administration and authorities are engaged in business activities in the mass media and social networks, it became known that a number of officials are founders or have shares in business entities. This was reported by the Anti-Corruption Agency.
It is noted that measures have been taken by the agency to eliminate the conflict of interests.
In particular, the founding and management activities of the following officials in business entities have been terminated:
- Sh.A., director general of the SUE “Central Securities Depository”;
- A.S., governor of Mirabad district (Tashkent city);
- A.S., head of “National Anti-Doping Agency”;
- D.S., head of the UE “Main Information Center”;
- S.N., governor of Buston district (Andijan region);
- D.S., director of the SUE “National PR-Center”;
- U.M., Deputy Minister of Energy;
- A.A., Director of the Pharmaceutical Network Development Agency.
