More than 6.6 million foreigners visited Uzbekistan in 2023

According to the Statistics Agency, more than 6.6 million foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan last year.

The purposes of travel of foreign citizens to Uzbekistan in 2023:

• to visit relatives – 5.6 million people;
• for recreation – 773.2 thousand people;
• for work – 143.5 thousand people;
• on business – 70.4 thousand people;
• for treatment – 61.3 thousand people;
• for studies – 16.8 thousand people.
