Uzbekistan ratifies Protection of Wages Convention
The corresponding law was signed by President Mirziyoyev.
The ILO Convention was ratified by the Law signed by the President (ZRU-918 of 03/12/2024).
Thus, the International Labor Organization Convention No. 95 on the Protection of Wages (Geneva, July 1, 1949) was ratified.
According to Article 3 of the Convention, monetary wages shall be paid exclusively in the currency having legal circulation in the country concerned, and payment in the form of debentures, receipts, coupons or any other form purporting to correspond to legal currency is prohibited.
