Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov arrives in Surkhandarya region
Minnikhanov began his official visit by touring the memorial complex of Al-Termezi.
On March 27, Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, arrived in the Surkhandarya region on an official visit aimed at familiarizing himself with the industrial and economic potential of the area.
Upon arrival at Termez International Airport, Rustam Minnikhanov was greeted by officials led by the Governor of the Surkhandarya region, Ulugbek Kasimov.
Tatarstan’s leader started his visit with a tour of the mausoleum of the scholar and hadith expert Al-Hakim At-Termezi, where verses from the Quran were recited.
The agenda of his visit includes trips to industrial complexes in the Surkhandarya region.
