New governor appointed to Bukhara city
This position was filled by the former head of one of the departments of the Ministry of Construction.
During an extraordinary session of the Bukhara city council of people’s deputies, Kurbon Tursunov was elected the new governor of the city of Bukhara, the press service of the Bukhara regional administration reported.
Prior to his appointment, Kurbon Tursunov served as head of the department for operation and development of heat supply systems of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services.
It is noted that Jamol Nosirov, who headed the city administration since May 2021, was relieved of his post due to deteriorating health.
