Uzbekistan and Germany move to strengthen ties through enhanced cooperation
Uzbekistan's Deputy Foreign Minister, Muzaffar Madrahimov, held a meeting yesterday with Manfred Grund, Deputy Chairman of the German Bundestag group "FRG – Central Asia."

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting focused on proposals to enhance relations between Uzbekistan and Germany, with an emphasis on the development of inter-parliamentary dialogue.
Mutual interest was expressed in increasing trade and economic and investment cooperation, establishing partnerships between research institutions, and expanding joint programs and projects in labor migration and education.
The negotiation agenda also included issues related to upcoming joint contacts at various levels and formats.
