First hajj pilgrims of 2024 season depart from Tashkent to Medina (photos)

On May 23 at 01:40, the first flight of Uzbekistan Airways took off from Tashkent to Medina with 240 pilgrims on board, the press service of Uzbekistan Airports reports.
It is noted that from May 23 to June 7, flights from 10 cities of Uzbekistan will be operated to Medina.
Most pilgrims will go to Hajj from Tashkent. There will be 24 flights carrying 5,830 passengers.
14 flights with pilgrims will depart from Namangan, 6 – from Fergana, 4 – from Samarkand, 3 – flights from Bukhara, Karshi and Termez, 2 – flights (one each) from Urgench and Navoi, 1 – flight from Nukus.
A total of 15,130 pilgrims from Uzbekistan will perform the hajj.
