Fire breaks out in Sergeli car market

The fire burned dry grass in an open field and damaged an inoperable truck parked at the roadside.

A video has spread on social networks showing trucks on fire near the Sergeli car market. The Tashkent city emergency department provided official information about the situation.

Reportedly, today at 11:49 a.m., the Tashkent city emergency department received a report of a fire in an open field in block 6A of Sergeli district. Accordingly, 2 fire and rescue crews arrived on the spot at 11:43 and extinguished the fire at 11:55.

Dry grass and branches, as well as 1 inoperable truck were damaged.

It is noted that the cause of the fire and the extent of material damage are currently being established. There is no information about casualties as a result of the accident.
