Cases of energy theft detected in regions
Cases of illegal use of electricity have been identified in Fergana and Samarkand regions, the PGO Department reports.

It was established that the responsible persons of the private enterprise replaced the electric meter installed in a non-residential building on Roshidonii Street and illegally consumed electricity in the amount of 301.6 million soums.
In the Jomboy district, it was established that the responsible persons of two farms connected water pumps installed on the land plots to the power grid for commercial purposes and illegally consumed electricity worth 156.1 million soums.
Similarly, during the pre-investigation check conducted by the Altyaryk district department of the PGO, it was established that the responsible persons of the farm illegally consumed electricity in the amount of 62 million soums by influencing electricity meters installed on water pumps.


Criminal cases have been initiated under Article 169 (Theft) of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being carried out.
