Residents of Tashkent face problems with hot water due to water supply accident
Residents of a number of districts of Tashkent faced hot water outages due to an accident on the main water supply in the Yunusabad district, Veolia Energy Tashkent said.
“This morning in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent, a main water pipe ruptured, causing the streets to be flooded with cold water. Due to the accident, the pressure in the TC-4 boiler room has dropped, and it cannot operate in accordance with established standards. Because of this, residents of a number of areas faced hot water outages,” the report reads.
Immediately after the accident is completely eliminated by Uzsuvtaminot teams, Veolia Energy Tashkent specialists will begin work on restoring the hot water supply.
Early in the morning, streets in the Yunusabad district were flooded due to an accident in the water pipeline located at the intersection of Moykurgan and Karakamysh streets. The press service of “Tashkent shahar suv ta’minoti” stated that the cause of the incident was a power outage in boiler room No. 4, but the Ministry of Energy denied this version.
