Nodir Ganiev appointed as Uzbekistan's ambassador to France
Since October 2023, he had held the position of Uzbekistan's first ambassador to Sweden.
A new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan, Nodir Ganiev, has arrived in the capital of France, the Dunyo IA reported.
Before his appointment, he served first as Acting Chargé d'Affaires and then, since October 2023, as Uzbekistan's first Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Sweden.
Nodir Ganiev replaces Sardor Rustambayev in Paris, who led the embassy from 2018 to 2023. In January of this year, Rustambayev was appointed ambassador to India.
Nodir Ganiev is 52 years old. He graduated from Tashkent State University (now the National University of Uzbekistan) with a degree in Philology and Oriental Studies. Since 1994, Nodir Ganiev has worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs system, holding various positions in the central apparatus and in the country's diplomatic missions abroad.
