Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan hold bilateral consultations ahead of Mirziyoyev's state visit
On August 6, Astana hosted inter-MFA political consultations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the delegations were headed by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan, Bobur Usmanov, and the Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, Yermukhamet Konuspayev.
The parties conducted a thorough review of bilateral relations in political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian, and other areas, as well as cooperation within multilateral frameworks.
It should be noted that on August 7-9, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Kazakhstan on a state visit at the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
