Presidents of Uzbekistan and Iran discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation
On the sidelines of an international forum in Ashgabat, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the President of Iran Masoud Pizishkian.
During the talks, the two leaders expressed satisfaction with the ongoing active interactions at various levels, noting the increase in trade volume and the growing number of joint ventures between the two countries.
The parties emphasized the importance of supporting and swiftly implementing cooperation projects, as well as expanding the list of products covered under the Preferential Trade Agreement.
In addition to economic matters, Mirziyoyev and Pizishkian exchanged views on pressing international and regional issues, highlighting the significance of continued collaboration on the global stage.
