Newlywed couple found dead from suspected poisoning in Tashkent region
Reports on social media suggest that a newlywed couple tragically died from carbon monoxide poisoning just a day after their wedding. According to the Prosecutor General's Office, the couple was found dead, with poisoning by an unknown substance cited as the cause.

The incident reportedly occurred in the Piskent district of the Tashkent region. Social media claims that the couple succumbed to carbon monoxide poisoning; however, this has not been officially confirmed.
On December 15, in the Birlik neighborhood of Piskent, a man born in 1995 and a woman born in 1997 were found deceased, as stated by the Prosecutor General's Office.
A forensic medical examination was ordered as part of the ongoing pre-investigation process. The preliminary conclusion identified poisoning by an unknown substance as the cause, along with venous congestion of the internal organs and swelling of the brain and lungs.
The Piskent district prosecutor's office continues its pre-investigation checks into the incident.
