Avalanche risk declared in six regions of Uzbekistan
Authorities have issued an avalanche risk warning for the regions of Kashkadarya, Samarkand, Jizzakh, Tashkent, Namangan, and Surkhandarya.

According to UzHydromet, this risk is linked to expected precipitation and temperature fluctuations between March 20 and 25.
Affected areas:
- Kashkadarya region: Dehkanabad, Kitab, Kamashi, and Shakhrisabz districts
- Surkhandarya region: Boysun, Kumkurgan, Sariosiyo, and Uzun districts
- Samarkand region: Nurobod, Koshrobod, Samarkand, and Urgut districts
- Jizzakh region: Bakhmal and Zomin districts
- Tashkent region: Bostanlyk, Ohangaron, and Parkent districts (Chimgan mountain range)
- Namangan region: Pop district
Residents of mountainous areas, tourists, and drivers traveling through these regions are urged to take precautionary measures.
