Uzbekistan imports over 12,000 cars in early 2025
Uzbekistan imported more than 12,000 passenger vehicles in the first four months of 2025, according to data released by the National Statistics Committee.
Between January and April, a total of 12,071 cars were brought into the country, with the overall value of imports amounting to $213.7 million.
China remained the dominant supplier, accounting for the lion’s share of imports with 9,904 units. South Korea followed with 1,714 cars, while India, Japan, and the United States exported 168, 97, and 41 vehicles respectively. An additional 147 vehicles were imported from various other countries.
