Families of gas station fire victims in Kashkadarya receive 100 million UZS in financial aid
On the initiative of the president, financial assistance has been provided to those affected by the fire in the Kukdala district of Kashkadarya region.
As previously reported, a fire broke out on July 16 at a compressed natural gas (CNG) filling station in the Kukdala district, resulting in the deaths of four people.
The Kukdala district administration confirmed that compensation payments have been made to all victims.
Specifically, families of the deceased were given 100 million UZS each in cash.
Injured individuals currently undergoing treatment have received compensation of 50 million UZS each.
The funds were personally delivered to the victims' homes and treatment facilities, with participation from the district governor and representatives of the local administration.
Additionally, qualified medical care will be provided free of charge to the injured until they fully recover. All costs for treatment and medications will be fully covered by the state.
