Uzbekistan advises citizens in Thailand to avoid Cambodia border areas
Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs is closely monitoring the situation that has arisen following an armed clash along the Thailand–Cambodia border.
The ministry has called on all parties involved to resolve the situation through peaceful means and to adhere to international law.
According to the ministry, no Uzbek citizens residing in Thailand or Cambodia have been affected by the incident. The situation in the Thai capital and major tourist destinations remains stable, and there are no threats to foreign travelers.
However, Uzbek citizens are advised to refrain from traveling to areas near the Cambodian border and to stay updated with official announcements.
