Government revises fees for foreign vehicles crossing Uzbekistan
The government has approved new payment rates for foreign heavy and oversized vehicles traveling across Uzbekistan. The tariffs are set based on the amount by which the vehicle’s actual mass exceeds the permitted weight.
According to the Ministry of Justice, amendments and additions have been introduced to certain resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers.
In particular, the fees for foreign heavy and oversized vehicles moving across Uzbekistan have been revised.
From now on, if the actual mass of a vehicle exceeds the permitted limit, the following tariffs per kilometer of road will apply:
• 0–5 tons – 0.08% of the base calculation unit (BCU)
• 5–10 tons – 0.12%
• 10–15 tons – 0.24%
• 15–20 tons – 0.42%
• 20–25 tons – 0.63%
• 25–30 tons – 0.97%
• 30–35 tons – 1.39%
• 35–40 tons – 1.94%
• 40–45 tons – 2.66%
• 45–50 tons – 3.59%
• Over 50 tons – 4.22%
In addition, new fees have been set for reviewing applications, approving routes, and issuing permits for the movement of heavy and oversized vehicles:
• Up to 100 km – 54% of the BCU (previously $25)
• For each subsequent kilometer – 0.24% of the BCU (previously $0.11)
