Nasaf suffers third straight defeat in AFC Champions League
Uzbekistan’s reigning champion Nasaf continues its poor run in the AFC Champions League Elite tournament.
In the third round of matches, Nasaf played away against Shabab Al-Ahli and suffered a heavy 1–4 defeat.
For the home side, goals were scored by Cartabia, Renan, Mateusão, and Breno, while Nasaf’s only goal came from Zafarmurod Abdurahmatov.
This marks the third consecutive loss for Ruzikul Berdiev’s team in the prestigious tournament. Nasaf now sits at the bottom of the group standings, while Shabab Al-Ahli, with seven points, holds second place.
Nasaf will play its next match on 3 November at home against Al-Wahda of the United Arab Emirates.
