Uzbekistan’s outbound tourism surges 25% YoY
Nearly 6.4 million citizens of Uzbekistan traveled abroad for tourism between January and October 2025.
According to the National Statistics Committee, the figure increased by almost 1.3 million, or 24.7%, compared to the same period last year.
The top destinations for Uzbek tourists during the reporting period were: Kyrgyzstan (2.8 million), Kazakhstan (1.2 million), Tajikistan (1.1 million), Russia (370,100), Saudi Arabia (237,100), Turkey (230,800), the UAE (114,100), Egypt (56,200), China (39,600), and Vietnam (32,800). Other countries collectively accounted for 204,100 trips.
The statistics highlight a continued preference for regional travel, particularly to neighboring Central Asian states, while destinations in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia remain popular among Uzbek tourists seeking diverse cultural and recreational experiences.
